Cântăreaţa americană Beyonce a devenit cel mai premiat artist din istoria galei Grammy Awards, după ce a câştigat duminică seară la Los Angeles patru trofee – care au ridicat bilanţul victoriilor obţinute de-a lungul carierei sale la 32.

Cântăreaţa americană, care a primit nouă nominalizări la ediţia din acest an a premiilor Grammy, s-a impus deocamdată la patru categorii: „cel mai bun album dance/electronic” („Renaissance”), „cea mai bună înregistrare dance/electro” („Break my soul”), „cea mai bună interpretare tradiţională R&B” („Plastic off the sofa”) şi „cel mai bun cântec R&B” („Cuff It”).

Precedentul record – 31 de premii Grammy – îi aparţinea regretatului dirijor de muzică clasică Georg Solti.

„Încerc să nu devin prea emoţionată. Încerc doar să mă bucur de această seară. Vreau să-i mulţumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru că mă protejează. Îţi mulţumesc, Dumnezeu!”, a declarat artista americană.

De asemenea, cântăreaţa pop le-a mulţumit membrilor familiei sale şi a transmis un mesaj comunităţii LGBTQ: „Vă mulţumesc pentru dragostea voastră şi pentru faptul că aţi reinventat acest gen muzical”.

Cea de-a 65-a ediţie a galei Grammy Awards, organizată de The Recording Academy, a avut loc la Crypto.com Arena din Los Angeles. Evenimentul, difuzat de postul CBS şi platforma de streaming Paramount+, este prezentat pentru al treilea an consecutiv de actorul şi prezentatorul TV sud-african Trevor Noah.
